About
I am a Research Associate (Public Health) at Teesside University. I have worked here since 2006 and have had the opportunity to work on many interesting projects during that time. These have included a study assessing the acceptability of the introduction of the HPV immunisation in Scotland; an evaluation of the introduction of the Middlesbrough based Hepatitis B immunisation programme; a review of sexual health and relationship education activities and resources in primary schools in Scotland.
My current work focusses on an evaluation on the Tees rollout of the NHS Health Check programme – a screening proramme to identify individuals with an increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
I am also studying part-time towards a PhD.
